Journal Sections
Research: Texts that are the result of systematic research, whose purposes, methodology, and results are relevant to the objectives of the RChP.
Essay: Reflections that present relevant questions, discussions, and theoretical reviews.
Book Reviews, Doctoral Theses, Essays, or Other Relevant Artistic Productions: Reviews of works that contribute to the current discussion on pedagogy.
About the Submission and Review Process of Manuscripts
Before double bind peer review, articles received by the Journal will be examined in Turnitin in order to guarantee originality. Then, texts will undergo a preliminary evaluation by the Editorial Committee to assess their alignment with the editorial policy of the RChP. After meeting this condition, manuscripts will be sent to two external reviewers.
Reviewers may rate the text in any of the following categories:
Accepted without modifications.
Accepted with modifications.
Rejected.
In case of disagreement between the reviewers, the text will be sent to a third reviewer.
Format and Preparation of Manuscripts
Submission implies a commitment that the texts have not been previously published nor are they simultaneously submitted to another publication.
Each submission must include an anonymized text prepared by the author, ensuring the following:
Do not include personal data.
Remove metadata from the file.
In references and bibliography, cite the author’s previous works using the term "AUTHOR" instead of their last name. In references, the title of their previous works will be replaced by the word "TITLE." Email addresses and DOIs of the works will be replaced by "URL" and "DOI," respectively.
The text must be submitted in Microsoft Word 2003 or later, with 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman font size 12 for the main body, and size 10 for footnotes.
The title must be included in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, centered and in bold.
The total length of the text must not exceed 20 pages for research articles and essays, or five pages for reviews. These maximums include references and footnotes.
It must contain an abstract of no more than 8 lines in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.
After the abstract, include up to five keywords.
Tables and figures must be inserted into the article in numbered order, including a description of their content and source.
If images are required, they must be embedded in the text and also submitted separately in JPG format, with a resolution of 600 dpi or higher.
Subtitles should be aligned to the left and in bold.
Textual quotes shorter than four lines should be inserted into the body of the text within quotation marks. Longer quotes should be inserted separately, with a 10-space left indent and without quotation marks.
Bibliographic references within the body of the text must follow APA 6th edition guidelines.
