La Crónica de Jerónimo de Vivar y el sujeto Colonial
Abstract
In this essay, I propose to analyse the construction of the colonial subject in the Crónica delos Reinos de Chile (1558) by the Spanish chronicler Jerónimo de Vivar. Three levels are studied: the chronicler, the conqueror as a subject in the Crónica and the colonized subject (especially the araucanos).
