Revista INVI is a scientific journal published by the Housing Institute of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the University of Chile. It was created in October 1986 under the name "Boletín INVI" and in December 2003, changed its name to "Revista INVI." The journal is an internationally recognized journal that disseminates advances in knowledge about housing, residential habitat, and territorial studies from an academic and scientific perspective. The journal aims to publish high-quality original contributions that propose interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches, with a preference for those supported by institutional funding and sponsorship. The objective is to promote the development and dissemination of comprehensive perspectives in the study of residential habitat.
Revista INVI publishes three issues per year, released in May, August, and November. The journal accepts contributions continuously, exclusively through its website: http://www.revistainvi.cl. Article selection follows a double-blind peer review system. The journal is indexed in Scopus, ESCI, SciELO Chile, Redalyc, ERIH Plus, among others.
Revista INVI focuses in the subject of residential habitat, understanding that this is the complex result of various factors that unfold over time on multiple scales. The journal disseminates works carried out under multidisciplinary and integral approaches and its contents are defined by an editorial policy that prioritizes the quality of the collaborations, their originality, theme relevance, systematization and scientific rigor, especially valuing those derived from academic research.
