Extra-Long Residential Infrastructures are extra-long constructions with a façade length longer than the standard dimension (estimated 400 meters), with a great residential capacity (with communities of more than 1,000 users) and with recognisable elements of the city such as “streets in the sky”, local shops, with different speeds for the building itinerary (by car, motorbike and bike), or in-between-spaces for meeting, and so on. These settlements are developed between the twenties and seventies mainly, and currently they have been immersed in polemic questions due to their misuse and damages suffered with the passage of time. For this reason, the case of Park Hill is dealt analysing changes made and their impact on cohabitation everyday processes. In this way, we have concluded that, despite the renewal, many aspects of spatial structure were not modified, situation which calls a future of hope into question.
