In this article, we will analyze the factors that determined that Chile, a country with a historical debt in terms of women’s participation in politics, approved the drafting of a new Constitution through a gender-parity constituent mechanism and what effects this featuring has on the inclusion of women in decision-making spaces, and in the participation and election of women in the next popular elections.
