With this issue of International Studies not only ends a new year of our main publication, but also the culmination of an important life cycle of the Institute of International Studies and of the journal, which is one of the most visible expressions of its dedication in the field of international studies. However, although the commemorative activities of the 40 years of the Institute of International Studies are ending, an auspicious new cycle of this academic center begins, in which we intend to achieve higher goals of academic excellence and service to society, such as the indexing of the journal and the renewal of our editorial team.
