This article claims that inequality extends to the digital world, thus generating a gap in access as well as in levels of usage of information technology and communication. Therefore, the state has developed innovation strategies that try to reduce the gap and generate links with society's most vulnerable sectors. It analyzes how in the last few years Chile has implementedTelecentres as public policy for reducing the digital divide.
