In this paper we intend to explore relevant conceptual relationships between the idea of a citizen´s right to existence in H. Cohen´s ethics and J. G. Fichte´s theory of right, in connection with M. Heidegger´s and H.-G. Gadamer´s hypothesis of the Fichtean infl uence on Marburg´s Neo-Kantianism.
