Arquitetura hospitalar centrada no afeto: contribuições de Baruch de Espinosa

Resumen

Planejados como espaços de recuperação da saúde, os hospitais são fonte de experiências traumáticas e estressantes. Nesse contexto, a dimensão afetiva faz parte da resposta humana ao impacto direto que o ambiente exerce sobre o processo psicofisiológico. Apesar dos avanços na arquitetura hospitalar, sua eficiência construtiva e aparência moderna e ‘clean’, aspectos subjetivos como valor, ética e afetos dos usuários não são levados em consideração nos requisitos ou parâmetros de modelagem. Este artigo apresenta sinteticamente o arcabouço teórico metodológico com vistas a consideração da dimensão afetiva na prática projetual, por meio de revisão da literatura sobre o afeto de Espinosa, as teorias do psicoevolucionismo, restauração da atenção, bem como Value Sensitive Design (VSD). Observou-se que os elementos das referidas teorias podem ser considerados como afetos potenciais a serem traduzidos objetivamente em requisitos de projetos arquitetônicos hospitalares.
