Abstract
In this paper I explore the filmography of Maria Luisa Bemberg, argentine and
feminist filmmaker. The work is divided into two parts and two targets. On one hand, considering that Maria Luisa was a founder of the Feminist Union Argentina (UFA), analyzes their works of the period in order to produce a witness to the experiences of feminist activism in Argentina in the seventies to from the stories recreated by Maria Luisa. The second part is aimed at studying the films produced during the decades of the eighties and nineties, a period in which Maria Luisa Bemberg had left the organized feminist activism but not the commitment
to make a feminist film.
