This article analyzes the children’s health advertising published in the Chilean press between 1860 and 1920, time when newspapers and magazines were privileged ways to access to information and knowledge. We want to know what products were offered and by what arguments , in order to know the information that readers received through advertising and the degree of agreement between the speech of such ads and medical knowledge of the time.
