In this exposition we talk about the concept of the Manuel de Salas memoranda (1754-1841) written in Más a Tierra Island between 1814 and 1817, in the historical context of Chilean Independence, where we recognize the reasons that justify the right of liberty, which is demanded as a natural good for the people who work for the development and social peace of Chile.
