Abstract

In this essay we review some significant aspects of Grínor Rojo’s academic career, particularly in relation to his critical and historiographical work on Chilean and Latin American theatre, where two works stand out today recognized as classics for theatrical and literary studies: The Origins of Contemporary Hispanic American Theater (1972) and Death and Resurrection of Chilean Theater (1985)
