Recovery Paradigm: Freedom social workers

Abstract

This book recounts the origins and formation of Recovery, examines its foundations and operating principles, and presents several methods inspired by this paradigm, such as Housing First, Tidal or WRAP, along with others that converge with the same principles from other movements, such as the First Professional Experience program or the Serra-Schönthal method.

Gabriela Rubilar Donoso, Universidad de Chile

PhD in Research Methodology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) and PhD in Human and Social Sciences from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid (Spain). She is an academic and director of the Department of Social Work at the University of Chile. Member of the Nucleus of Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Work (Chile). Lines of research: Public policies and social programs, poverty and exclusion, research in Social Work.

Fernando Vidal. D. in Sociology and is a professor of Psychology and Social Work at Comillas Pontifical University. He is director of the Center for Social Impact, director of the Amoris Laetitia Chair and researcher at the University Institute of the Family, which he directed for ten years. He has been a professor at Boston College in Massachusetts, as well as founding president of the Social Sciences IFCU Network.
