Abstract

The 2005 reform is, in my opinion, the one with the greatest legal significance of the seventeen changes made to the 1980 Fundamental Charter. I think so because that amendment finds, in the new Chapter VIII dedicated to the Constitutional Court, the most far-reaching modification that has been introduced into the Chilean regulatory system, at least since the Political Code of 1980 came into effect.
