Abstract

During the last few months we have witnessed a debate, at times byzantine, about the Office of the Comptroller General of the Republic, its functions, attributions and, in particular, who will be the next Comptroller, as well as an attempt to justify that a good part of the inconveniences that have existed in recent times are due to the current appointment system.
