The legislative power of the Supreme Court established in article 77 of the Political Constitution

Abstract

This paper studies the history of the power that article 74, currently 77, of the Political Constitution of the Republic, grants to the Supreme Court to rule on bills that contain provisions on the organization and powers of the courts of law. justice and, on the other hand, it analyzes the meaning and scope that the Constitutional Court has given through its jurisprudence to the concept of constitutional organic law relative to the organization and attributions. Finally, he reflects on the possibility of granting legal initiative to the Supreme Court in matters of its competence.
