Abstract

This paper tries to expose various notions about the Greek “religion” that appear in the Arrian’s Anabasis, and generally they are not a work of religious nature. Nevertheless, throughout the text Arriano was exposing his opinions and reflections about the divinities and their own expressions of worship, which is an issue connected to Alexander’s conquests.
